What My Guides Told Me About the Veil

Over the weekend I did a little channeling to sort through my own interpretation about the veil. So often we've heard words like "on the other side of the veil" or "the veil is thinning," and as an intuitive and psychic medium, I understand the 101s of what it means, the seen and the unseen. But I thought I'd ask my guides for a little more clarity. What exactly is it?

From my guides: Dearest soul (I love when they say that), the veil is not something you see with the naked eye. It is a state of vibration. Many believe the veil is above them, hovering somewhere out of reach, as though it is something upward, like reaching for the sky. That belief may serve them within their current level of awareness, but the veil is not a place. It is a frequency. The veil, the other side, is not technically above you. It is all around you. In front of you, behind you, alongside you. There is no separation. It is one. When you are asked to raise your vibration to see, hear, and feel what is beyond the veil, it is not a ladder you are required to climb to get closer to spirit. It is a frequency you tune into, one that is already surrounding you. That tuning is what we call thinning the veil: when the space between what is known and the unknown grows thinner, revealing what has always been there.

Here is what that feels like in practice for myself.

When I sit before a reading, or even in meditation, I do my best to settle into the highest vibration I can hold. I imagine a lantern being lit in the center of my being, its light expanding outward and upward. At the same time, I ground myself with gratitude. I imagine my body as a tree, roots reaching deep into the earth, anchored and nourished by the soil below. But for me, this work of service is so much more than a lantern. It is more than roots and light. Before anything else, it is sitting in a place of love, joy, and peace. It is a sacred space, one you are not meant to force. You are meant to allow it, to let it flow, the way you would let yourself feel a warm breeze or the sun resting on your face. That is the place I go to connect, not only with myself and my higher self, but with the spirit world as well. It is when I arrive in that space that the veil no longer exists. It feels as though we are all in the same room, where the deepest emotions, expressions, love, and hope simply are. I believe it is a place any of us can access if we are open to receiving it. 🙏❤️
